| 99294 | 2002-11-17 22:15:00 | I'm using XP Pro and there are a couple of things which are beginning to bug me. I have it set so that most recently modified file is displayed at the top. But it just really annoys me the way the folders are kept down the bottom. In 98se the folder were kept up the top how I like it. Also is there a way to create a shortcut on the right-click menu to allow me to open any file in notepad or frhedit. |

This is/should be located under the user part of your Documents and Settings. e.g. %SYSTEMDRIVE%\Documents and Settings\{YOURUSER}\SendTo and you can create shortcuts in there which will then become available to that user. Can you point me a little more info re your 1st query? Are you meaning under windows explorer? Cheers, Babe. |

| 99296 | 2002-11-17 22:35:00 | JM, For the 1st part of question what I have done for some folders is to set the VIEW - DETAILS, ARRANGE ICONS BY - MODIFIED, SHOW IN GROUPS. This NOT necessarily the same as what you want however. Babe. |

The "Send To" trick works great and will do for now :) The other one doesn't do what I was after. I always use view by modied in details view. I just want it so that I can have the folders displayed first. |
