99225 2002-11-17 21:58:00 You should be able to go:
Ctrl+Alt+Del while at your desktop, select Change Password (Provided you're logged in as the Admin account).

99226 2002-11-17 23:08:00 You will need to be logged on with Administrator permissions

The following is used on a domain.
Open Administrative Tools in Programs
Then Active Directory Users and Computers
Select Users
Right click on the administrator account.
Use Reset password.

The reset password will take effect at the next log on.

Access in a Workgroup is similar - memory says it is just Users and Computers

99227 2002-11-18 03:26:00 If it is a server, you need to check if any services are running under the administrator account as they will not start after the server is rebooted until you change the service startup password Marty2001 (421)
