| 99201 | 2002-11-17 09:26:00 | It sounds like a damaged or "old" dll file. Sometimes these files get "replaced" when you install software. Usually you get asked "a file on your system is older than the one being copied" and you get to say Yes or No. If you ever allow an older one to replace the newer one this can happen. Or bad installers can do it. Since you have XP, try the easy route first. Go START | RUN | type sfc /scannow then press enter. Thre is a space between <sfc> and </scannow> This should compare all your dll files with the ones in the dll cach and replace any damaged ones. It may ask for your XP CD. By the way, the "apostrophe" key is next to the "enter" key, I feel like I have the hiccups when I'm reading your text where the comma is used instead :D |

| 99203 | 2002-11-17 10:08:00 | Thats a bit weird? Whats the history of the machine? The error message suggests it's a client (or was) in a server / client setup. Was XP installed as a stand-alone or was the PC part of a corporate network at some stage?? |

| 99206 | 2002-11-23 02:21:00 | Have you added any programmes over the ones which were installed when you got it? If you haven't, I'd get them to fix it. Anyway, have a talk to them. Have you got a PC Company repair CD, or proper MS installation disks? | Graham L (2) | ||
