| 99447 | 2002-11-18 08:21:00 | I am currently setting up an IBM 300GL 200Mhz PC W98SE . Installed 33K Dynalink ISA Modem using only TCP/IP protocol, no conflicts under Device Manager. When I connect to the Internet the icon of the two PCs appear on the Task Bar, flash once then it disconnects. I have disabled the intergrated LAN, tried two types of drivers which work with same modem on my other PC, tried checking & un checking "Error Control" & "Flow Control" under "Advanced Connection Settings". My other PC can connect to the same ISP & login without problems. Do I have to some how alter the modem commands or is it another problem? Rog |

Right-click on the ISP connection icon and choose Properties. Click the Configure button. Change maximum speed to 38.400 Click the Connection tab. Click the Advanced button. Extra settings, delete anything here. Click OK and OK again Click on Server Types Tab Untick, Logon to network, NetBeui and IPX Restart computer. |
