| 99691 | 2002-11-19 10:30:00 | I've got NIS..and i want to set up password protection for it...so i ticked...password protection and the button next to it "setup password" is still greyed out...BUT when i click ok..and close the program, and then click disable on taskbar...it askes for a password which i learnt is the same as my LOG ON to computer password..so i REMOVED my log on...and the password changed to become a BLANK one.. How can I set up the password to be a orginal one, to be used for only NIS.... AM using winxp home edition |

| 99693 | 2002-11-19 22:17:00 | When I tick the Turn on password protection, the Set Password also greyed out but another popped up windows will say In order to use password protection feature, password is required. Would you like to set a password now? Choose Yes and you will be prompted to enter your new password | SKT174 (1319) | ||

| 99695 | 2002-11-19 22:27:00 | is there still a Tick beside the "Turn on password protection" ? If not, I'm not sure why it is doing this, but I think uninstall and reinstall should help. Sorry not being able to help u much :( |
