| 99654 | 2002-11-19 09:40:00 | Time for another war. Anyone got any comments about Orcon as an ISP. I just signed up (and am now connected) but haven't paid anything yet so I guess I'm sorta taking it for a test drive.. :D Getting sick of Quicksilver already... |

An ISP that does well in Auck might suck the big one in Welly, or vise versa I have interest in this thread.. i live in eternal fear of going back to dial up, but if i leave my cave, i may have to. ORCON is my first choice, but that is based on there attitude as a web server, and an awareness that they have the needed resources. .Clueless |

| 99656 | 2002-11-19 19:36:00 | Oh yea, true eh? :) I live in Welly. I don't know what Slingshot are like now, before I was touting them untill the connection got bad, then they kept saying (when they bothered) that it was always something (different) at my end. Poor customer service is what I got in the end. At least Quicksilver will tell me that they are having traffic probs. But then they claimed to have installed an extra 60 lines in Welly but I have yet to notice the difference... SiK |
