99636 2002-11-19 08:54:00 Reoman,

Perhaps you installed a 'freeware/shareware' software package that installs a bad version of this file.

There is a working version at Morgan Multimedia (www.morgan-multimedia.com). If that doesn't work for you, run "regsvr32 /u mmswitch.ax" to unregister that file, then rename "mmswitch.ax" on your system to stop the crashing.

99637 2002-11-19 20:20:00 If that fails and you havn't installed any progs on your computer in the last 2 weeks, then use system restore to go back to a point when everything was fine roofus (483)
99638 2002-11-20 07:41:00 Thanks Babe & Rufus! I didn't know how to run "regsvr32" so i tried system restore and went back to 3/11 and all is working.
Thanks again.

99639 2002-11-20 07:46:00 No problem, Reoman, glad to hear that you got your system solved.

In regard to my comment regarding regsvr32 you would have to have run that command from a COMMAND Prompt or use the RUN command (wasn't sure your OS version etc). So if it happens again you've got the methods sussed.

Cheers, Babe.
