| 99622 | 2002-11-19 06:57:00 | My connection has gained the ability to try connect when there's nothing running for no reason. It just started about an hour ago when I downloaded the update for Zonealarm, I can't see why it's doing it. Also, on a related matter..About a month ago I got annoyed with some checkbox that kept coming up for something, I can't remember what now but it made to auto dial function start up sometimes, even though I don't have my password automatically set and I have no intention of going online when it does start dialling. Hopefully that made some sense..All I want is some way to uncheck the box in effect. Thanks a lot -Tony. |

| 99624 | 2002-11-19 08:25:00 | You might find the options have been changed in your dial up networking setup. Go to Dialup networking and right click on your ISP connection icon and select Properties. You should see a series of tabs. Select "Dialing". To ensure the computer only dials up when you tel it to select "never dial an internet connection". Cheers, Rob |
