| 99519 | 2002-11-19 00:41:00 | Hi, I have recently upgraded my windows XP (pro edition) to service pack 1 standard and now my computer takes quite a long time to shutdown... Has service pack 1 have anything to do with it? How do I make my computer shutdown time more reasonable?. Thanx |

| 99520 | 2002-11-19 01:07:00 | There has been a lot of posts about XP's shutdown problems. If you could take a look at the FAQ's, I'm sure there is something there, or maybe a search of "xp shutdown prob's" rads:) |

| 99521 | 2002-11-19 01:20:00 | After I installed SP1 I too experienced slowness and in particular starting the computer. The next day there was a huge power failure which could have contributed to the problem. So I am not sure if it was the SP1 installation or the power outage. Anyway, the computer improved after a defrag, so I suggest doing a defrag first. | Oxie (1318) | ||
