| 100041 | 2002-11-22 01:35:00 | >the first thing we look at is the content of the index page exactly .....however the menu IS the index page. if you want people to easly navigate your site it pays to have it on the left, where its easly found. don't get me wrong here.... i don't mind right sided menus, a lot of sites have menus on both sides which is good in the fact that people usually look to the centre of the screen for info rather than it over to one side. |

Each man to his own... Whatever works :) I like it... Hey, what about getting a choice at the start.. having an intro page.. keep everybody happy :p or not... However, Intro pages can be good when used correctly on SOME sites :) |

| 100044 | 2002-11-22 02:42:00 | oh and for pointless info, that index page is made up of 6 frames...and can fit any resolution perfectly from 800x600 and up. try un-maximising the winodw and dragging from the corner, the whole website "moves" with it...im pretty pleased with that cuz then it dosnt look like it was made for a specific reso... and back to that menu, apart from the title (the big pixelated one) it sticks out more than anything...so i dont think anyone will "skip it" while looking at the site. |
