| 100396 | 2002-11-21 23:26:00 | Laptop running NT This machine defaults to number lock on (which is annoying as it is set up needing a password and if you have certain letters in your password...) Any ideas on how to change the default? Ta |

| 100400 | 2002-11-22 00:22:00 | I had a problem with a Compaq and num lock. Eventually found that numlock was specified in the BIOS - and Compaqs had a strange BIOS which was software located in the first sector on the hard drive. This file was missing. Had to reformat the computer to install the BIOS. All that to make turn the Numlock on! |
