| 100200 | 2002-11-21 06:53:00 | I have recently changed over computers and am now running XP instead of windows 98. I hadpreviuosly installed jdk1.3.04 on the old machine and transferred all the program file over to the new machine now when I try to run Java 2 on the current machine I get an error message as follows Registry key " Software \Javasof\Java Runtime Environment\ Current version has value 1.1 but 1.3 is required." When I access C:\path it gives jdk1.3.04 which is correct . How can I fix the registry entry so that it now works ? |

Now, you can't actually do this, as each program has to be "installed" from the original source (CD, download etc). Just copying program files over will not install them on the Registry. You need to find the original files ane run them. They will create your files on the drive at the same time they update the keys in the registry. |
