Does anyone know what this is? It comes up with ctrl+alt+del and I had a look at sites listing startup/background progs but can't find it.

Even google only gives one (inaccessable) result.

Silly me. Got things round the wrong way today, I've just deleted it.

Cheers mark :D c

100695 2002-11-23 01:25:00 Hi Mark

igfxtray is the Quick access to the control panel via a System Tray icon for graphics based upon the Intel chipsests (ie, i810). These chipsets are often included on motherboards. Not required - accessible vis Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.

This is quoted from pacs-portal site (www.pacs-portal.co.uk)

Hope this eases your mind :-)

100696 2002-11-23 01:37:00 Oh thank you very much Jen C.

I was trying to increase performance by closing stuff down but should check it out first.

(I know about pacs-portal too.)

I've been at microsoft for the last half hour and no trace of lgfxtray.

Thanx -mark :D c

100697 2002-11-23 01:42:00 That's OK. I think your search problems are related to the "l" instead of an "i" or "I" in igfxtray. :D Jen C (20)
100698 2002-11-23 01:44:00 Yeah I worried about that for a while too. It was so small in the Task List I swear it was an 'l' but then it was all gone!

Have a :) weekend.
