| 100710 | 2002-11-24 03:56:00 | I had recently got a NeoTurk 1.2 Pest into my computer which appeared to have knocked my sound card and the Windows sound icon off my task bar. After a lot of hassles I managed to get everything back into working order again, but still no sound icon and no sound. I went into the Multimedia Properties dialogue box and hoped to just click on the Playback and Recording boxes to get the sound icon back on track in the task bar. Unfortunately they are both greyed out and shows no recording device available. Can someone help me to get this sound back into my computer. I have the "Forte Media PCI Audio FM801 Sound Card installed and the Device manager says they are working and installed okay and that there are no conflicts from that quarter. Oh the Neo Turk Pest is dead now! |
