I'm having issues with at least 2 programs that are built on Java (JAlbum and minecraft), where they won't load or as soon as I start them up they freeze or make my computer lag. Altho it looks like updating the video drivers fixed it. Are the video drivers up to date? It looks like if you do use 64 bit Java instead of 32 bit, Minecraft will also run as a 64 bit app (forum.precipicegames.com).
