What joke. If anything , its worse....
Its August, plenty of time gone to implement this, & they still load up as much crap as ever. 20++ programs ( I didnt include skype, that might be usefull)
Trial/demo versions, crap programs no one would want, 15x HP programs (most is just rubbish)
This is on a Business Class Laptop, Win7 Pro. So the IT dept has to go & uninstall alot of this crap

Go HP. This is what happens when the marketing Dept have more say than the Engineers
a banana for you :banana

100% Agree.

It will never operate at the level the hardware is capable of after HP have done their filthy business with it.

As long as they give you the disks. HP has decided that putting a windows image with the crapware preinstalled onto the HDD is a good idea.

1297241 2012-08-27 08:47:00 The business laptops come with windows install DVDs & separate driver & application install DVDs.
The preloaded crap is slowly getting better with the latest hardware refresh. It is nowhere near as bad as Toshiba.

They now pre-load MS Security Essentials instead of Norton Internet Security, which is a welcome change.

1297243 2012-08-27 08:59:00 Have the drivers with the HP restore partition is a great idea (slipstreamed into the install) but the crapware is a joke!

It's just easier to grab a clean copy of 7 and re install. Deleted the install partition and made my own.

Thats because you got the crappy version.

They have a crappy line, and a not so crappy line (probooks). You have to pay extra to get less of a reaming.
