| 1296821 | 2012-08-25 06:40:00 | I was thinking about getting an Ipad. What is wrong with Apple?. Should I look for another brand of Tablet?. I'd get the TF300, or TF700 Transformer. Or Note 10.1 or Tab 2 but touchwiz kinda makes it crappy. Or the Nexus 7. But make sure the apps you need/want are available for android as there aren't very many at this stage. (tablet optimized that is.) Buy the Samsung Tab 2 . 10.1 just to piss crApple of. LOL |

| 1296824 | 2012-08-26 02:24:00 | From where I'm standing it seems that Apple are simply throwing around lawsuits to get rid of the competition, which to me is unethical. That's part of the reason I avoid Apple products like the plague. | pcuser42 (130) | ||
| 1296825 | 2012-08-26 02:28:00 | Yes. And no one will say why they hate Apple. Some say Apple is crap but give no reason for the statement?. I won’t buy any apple product because of their proprietary stance and predatory pricing. When I 1st started in the IT business, every manufacturer, IBM, Unisys, NCR DEC Wang and the like, forced you to purchase only their parts and peripherals at hugely inflated prices. If you wanted to change anything at all in your system, you were forced to purchase from your incumbent, or totally replace you system and software with a new and equally expensive supplier. Over time, with the advent of PCs, we got away from this way of business, to almost open source software and hardware. Apple have dragged buyers back into the bad old proprietary ways, and are again screwing users on price and forcing them to use only their software/services to achieve anything on their products It would be fair to say that their advertising and creation of demand for their products is a thing of beauty. Very cynical and predatory. I also have huge difficulties in believing that it is apple that “invented” most of the technologies that they are claiming as theirs. At best, they have may have evolved breakthroughs that were invented by others, many years ago HH |

That's part of the reason I avoid Apple products like the plague.MS seems to be suing a lot of people at the moment. Even threats of suing over the letter E. It would seem MS agrees with apple on some of the lawsuit against Samsung mashable.com |

At best, they have may have evolved breakthroughs that were invented by others, many years ago HH Example? To me it seems like most of there products are pretty much in line with everyone else (or vice versa). Their computers would be the only thing I could think of, they are slightly more expensive than most other computers in a similar market. It's called premium pricing, something you can get away with if you offer a remotely unique product. As for the forcing you into using on their parts/peripherals im going to disagree. They aren't any worse than their competitors. I can't say I've seen Apple claim that they have invented anything either, they use the words "created" and "revolutionary" a lot but they don't mean invent do they? |
