1321758 2013-01-07 02:42:00 Hi there
Im after a recommendation for a better screen capture toll for Win7 (freeware)
Just something I can capture then print without having to save the screendump 1st , like in Win7's 'snipping tool'

I know there are hundreds out there, what are the better ones? Just something really basic
Cheers

I did use Greenshot at work, that's nice and easy too.

1321760 2013-01-07 02:54:00 The prtscreen button if you want snapshots, then run paint and crop what you dont want. Altho, obviously you have to copy and paste it. Then save it if you want to keep it Speedy Gonzales (78)
1321761 2013-01-07 06:27:00 Not free but SnagIt is a very good bit of software, we use it for making IT docs at work. Alex B (15479)
1321762 2013-01-07 07:08:00 You can try Lightshot - its free Download Here (http://app.prntscr.com/) it integrates with your print Screen Key - you hit print screen, the screen turns darker, and you drag out the box with the arrow that appears to select the area you want, then save, print, what ever. wainuitech (129)

1321765 2013-01-08 02:09:00 Just tried Lightshot. I was using the snipping tool but Lightshot looks like a keeper.

Thanks, WT.
