| 1470207 | 2020-07-11 23:49:00 | My computer dies, again & my computer guy found me a computer h refuburshed & installed a SSD C drive I installed my trusted Comodo that I have used for many a year but slowed everything down, so I removed it I have a pain malwarebytes 7 was thinking all I need is a good quility fire wall. Seem they all all virus as well now. Does anyone know of a trusted stand alone fire wall? :thanks |

Its not Free but is well worth it. www.eset.com The firewall when set to inactive mode as Below: 10420 Can actually be a Pain till you get all the programs etc allow / Deny in or out permissions. It will Stop EVERYTHING until you tell it what to do, and when I say everything I mean EVERYTHING, you'd be surprised :eek: how many programs want in /out. If set to Automatic Mode (Default) you wont get many requests to allow / Deny traffic of known programs. |
