Note that those results would be running at High and 1920x1080 screen res. Although Ultra 1440p might be a bit too much for this GPU, it would return 37 FPS on High graphics setting. In summary, while some might be tempted to play Rage 2 in 1440p resolution with the Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB, we feel it is best placed at running at 1080p, where you could get the following frame rates - Low setting: 92 FPS, Medium setting: 73 FPS, High setting: 49 FPS, Ultra setting: 35 FPS. Just google something like "Rage 2 5500XT" and go to the video results tab. I personally think a 1660 would be fine as long as you aren't expecting to dial everything up to maximum quality. I have a laptop with a 1650 in it and am quite surprised how well it games at 1080p but I have not tried those games. |
