| 1469494 | 2020-06-10 01:44:00 | "Hard Disk : 750 GB" Get a SSD hard drive. Manufacturers often put quite slow HD's in laptops . Also , SOME old mechanical HD's can sometimes slow to a crawling speed (basically starting to die) A SSD Hard Drive can make a huuuge difference. 8Gb Ram is better than 4Gb & would help if have have a lot of things open at the same time. Given its age , it could be bogged down with alot of crud & crap (technical terms) . A Win10 reload or 'refresh' might help. Also , define 'slow' Slow to do what ? Slow to load win, slow to play games, slow internet speeds , slow to open apps, slow to open cloud based apps/docs . Windows10 updates can slow some systems , as they download & install. Or if an large updates fails & continuously retries . |
