I'd like to see you run any half decent desktop software on a mobile device. Especially as a lot of it is Windows/Mac only. CAD, 3D modelling, photo editing, video editing, scientific data analysis.... And even if the software runs, or there's an equivalent, try that on a 5" screen with no keyboard and mouse etc and you'll go insane in about three minutes. |

Its do-able but no one would really want to. People use Mac or PC's for day to day office work. Some out of Office jobs are done on Tablets , with specialized Android apps written for those tasks . I did have one office worker wanting to remote onto her work PC using her phone . I set that up , but was such an awefull experience it wasnt used . Even 10" - 12" laptops can be such an frustrating experience (screen size) that they very quickly get put aside & never used again for normal office work . |

But yes CAd and the like no, PCs are still the thing, but for anything other than major sw like that, people do use phs mostly. |
