| 1475352 | 2021-03-04 20:56:00 | Blame the audience , not the TV stations . If people refused to watch that crap, it would quickly go away. Its junk food for the mind most seem to watch . Thats Ok, sometimes we need to just turn off brain & unwind for a few hours . It used to be , when buying the popular shows from the US/UK, the TV stations would also be forced to buy some junk shows as part of the package . |

| 1475355 | 2021-03-05 01:39:00 | One good program is Wheeler Dealers, 5.30 and 10.30 every week day on Choice. Each episode they buy a well-known vehicle, fix and pimp it up and sell for a profit. Last night was Chev Sting Ray, others have been TVR Cerberus, Ford Popular Hot Rod, Ford Escort and many others. |

Tonight 7:30 : 8.30 TV1. Paintings, Ornaments, Clocks, Watches, you name it and they'll fix it. Some of the ones I've seen I figured the repair bill would be in the $1000's but it turns out it's all free. Only problem for us is the whole thing is in England. :crying |

Now why is that good? Iliked the UK one where they did up an old classic for owners...but for profit? Nah.... Different tastes. I had TV on and that fat program came on, wasn't really watching, but left it, and ended up watching it. It was an epsiode where teen gilr blamed parents and was rather dramatic. At end her coach had her admitting no-one forced her to put stuff in her mouth and she was exercising and apologetic and lost weight. It was OK, not watched more since though. Pretty much a theme I'd guess. Mostly we watch Sky, natGeo, History, CI, etc. Often something good there. And Top Gear, old ones but still worth a watch. |
