1469378 2020-06-07 04:00:00 I have two Seagate Barracuda (7200) 500 Gbytes hard drives that were in a RAID array in my old XP computer.
How can I delete this RAID setting so I can then use these drives as external drives for my current Win-10 computer?
TIA, Peter.

1469385 2020-06-07 22:12:00 I've had this issue in the past trying to reuse old drives. I the finish bought a USB to drive cable and used that to reformat the drives. paulw (1826)
1469386 2020-06-08 04:38:00 I fit a drive into a Nexstar-3 external 3.5 hard drive enclosure with eSATA connections, then connect to a rear terminal on my desktop base.
The whole PC runs on Win-10 ver.1909.

1469387 2020-06-08 04:42:00 They should show up in disk management and you can delete the partitions on them at create a new one. all data will be lost though.
Right click the windows start button and choose disk management from there. Be careful you choose the correct drive.
