101361 2002-11-25 10:37:00 I made a mistake about buying SuSE 8.1,

First each time you turn the computer on and as it boots up, the date & time is changed, I spent much time adjusting the time to make it correct, So then as I turned the computer on I checked the time in the BIOS and made sure the time was correct, by the time it got to the logon screen the time was wrong, So I shut down it down and checked the time again it was wrong, and the same as the log-on time, SuSE 7.0 gives no trouble at all.

Second, I downloaded Open Office Linux version and have it on SuSE 7.0 and also SuSE 8.1, I
saved a document file I made with windows (installed by the Open Office version on NZ PC world magazine CDROM) I could open it in SuSE 8.1 but could not save it, it works perfect with SuSE 7.0 ,

So why buy SeSE 8.1 when SuSE 7.0 works so well, well SuSE 7.0 does not install on a Pentium 4

I spoke to the agent about getting help and I got the feeling he does not care.
