| 101101 | 2002-11-24 22:30:00 | There are several games on my computer that are difficult to play because they are too dark. Wolfenstein is especially bad, there is a level that is unplayable because it is pitch black. I have maxed out the game brightness and my monitors brightness but it is still too dark. There was a brightness setting page under Display Properties/ Advanced, but with subsequent display driver changes this page has vanished. Is there a registry setting I can change? Or the System.ini brightness value does increasing this make a difference? Any advice will be appreciated. Cheers. |

| 101110 | 2002-11-24 23:12:00 | I have a similar problem but not as bad, my vid card is a cheap Powercolor gf mx200, just about every game I play I need to up the brightness within the game, Wolfy is particularly dark and by upping the brightness you lose contrast, but at least what I have is playable... best solution invest in a decent card. | Wombus (2622) | ||
