| 101212 | 2002-11-25 01:21:00 | My router is behaving itself ;-) however on looking at the generated logfiles I see the time and date are wrong. When it boots up It tries to connect to 129.6.15.29 but fails to connect and sets a default date. I am unable to either ping or tracer to 129.6.15.29 gets hung at 192.ATM6-0.GW3.TCO1.ALTER.NET My reply from DSE tech support said > If the router is unable to synchronise it's time, it is likely that it has > not yet established a connection with the internet. My test unit here > synchronises time ok, I can also successfully traceroute 129.6.15.29. would any of you guys please try ping and tracert to 129.6.15.29 and let me know if you succeed and if so any suggestions why I can not ping or tracert |
