101119 2002-11-24 22:32:00 any one try it yet ?
any probs?
would it have any problems if i put it on 2 computers in different houses ?
would they both still be able to update virus definitions with no probs?

101120 2002-11-24 22:35:00 i have it on 3 computers in my house
as long as they do not try to update at the same time you will be fine

101121 2002-11-24 22:36:00 I have it. Its not worth upgrading to if you already have 2002.
It has extra virus features for Instant messages.

Its a pretty well rounded package. People will argue the + an - and no doubt people will recommend using the free software by AVG. Which in your case maybe appropriate because you are using it on 2 computers.
If you used NAV on 2 computers you would be violating the software licence. Its only for 1 computer, you would have to buy the other license. It is unlikely that they would come hunt you down since its not a business your running. But they would be able to track it as there would be 2 computers registered and getting virus updates with the same product code.

If you want more information on all the different types of scanners. DO a search on PressF1 for antivirus

101122 2002-11-24 22:37:00 yes....it works. the virus updates are nice and small :)

>would it have any problems if i put it on 2 computers in different houses ?

if its the same copy then that would be illegal, so don't ask that here ;-)

101123 2002-11-24 22:42:00 I have the same copy of NSW2003 installed on 2 OS'es (Win98SE/Win2k) on the same machine. Does anyone know the legal implications of this?

Cheers

101125 2002-11-24 22:50:00 It's actually loaded twice (on separate partitions) cos it works differently on each OS. It means I have to run Liveupdate twice each time I check for updates.

101127 2002-11-25 01:06:00 I honestly don't think you will gain much (if anything by upgrading) . Personally, I find Nortons easy to use and easy to configure, but then I don't have a great deal of experience with the other apps . If it works, why fix it?
