I used to use that feature of ICQ myself when I didn't want to chat to certain people, I could appear to them to be offline. Can't see how to do it in Trillian though :( | Rod J (451) | ||

Easy: just set your Status to Invisible then double-click on the user you want to chat to and away you go. They can talk to you but can't see you online. Another way: in MSN you can "block" the people you don't want to see you, and in ICQ you are also supposed to be able to put people on your Privacy "Invisible List" so they don't see you either.
