| 102019 | 2002-11-27 23:31:00 | Hi everybody, I have this problem that has been plaguing me for a while. I keep my task manager running in my taskbar so that I can see if my pc has crashed or my pc is just doing something that takes up all of it's cpu power. I keep a shortcut to it in my startup folder so that it starts up automatically everytime my pc boots up. The trouble is, it's only there sometimes, and when it's not there, I tried running taskmgr manually but it just won't show up in the taskbar. I am running windows XP Professional with service pack 1 applied. It works everytime initially when I first install windows xp pro, but as time goes on, it just started to disappear on me more and more frequently. Any ideas? |

| 102020 | 2002-11-27 23:37:00 | I had a similar problem in Win2K. I ran the Repair funtion from the install CD. I'm not sure if XP has that option of not. | Chilling_Silence (9) | ||
