| 102223 | 2002-11-29 00:31:00 | I have heard about 100 different "requirements" for this game. Do you think it will run smoothly on: Laptop: Pentium 4 1.7 ghz-m 256mb DDR 2100 ram nVidia GeForce 2 32mb DDR 4xagp Go200 20gb Hardrive (only 4000 rpm i think) I hope like hell this works. I LOVE THAT GAME. The laptop should be arriving in a few days and I am thinking of buying it. I want to know if it will run perfctly/smoothly in 640x480. (I don't need any reso higher) |

| 102225 | 2002-11-29 00:48:00 | Your specs are kinda similar to mine, 1700+, 256mb RAM, 32mb Graphics card etc . When I ran the game at 640 x 480 it ran ok with slight jerkiness when driving at fast :D . I dunno why this was though, as indicated by the above specs by honeylaser, it should have run fine ?:| . Out of curiosity, does anyone know if GTA3:Vice City is coming to PC? Veale |

It is so much harder to drive the cars with a low frame rate. Be aware that once you enter the second area you will find that the frame rate will drop significantly. I spent a bit of time tweaking some of its settings to get a good solid frame rate. It must be a good game as I played it right through. Good luck. |
