| 102191 | 2002-11-28 23:06:00 | Hi All....I currently have some music files which the extension is .ram. the file is named as example (E0799-38.ram) These files can play in Real Player but I want to be able to use them in Win Amp and also burn then to CD as Mp3's. Any suggestions how I might go about this. I have tried to just change the extention and that doesn't work...thanks in advance. | Greengrass (2624) | ||

I'm sure it's possible though! Renaming simply wont work in this case sorry... :) Cheers Chilling_Silence |

It can be found at: http://asfrecorder.virtualave.net I also have done this by playing the streaming sound in RealPlayer or Win medi player, and at the same time recording the sound as an mp3 in MusicMatch. It is tricky. You need to hope the stream is not interrupted, and set up the inputs/outputs correctly in the play control, and MM recording source settings. But it can work.. Cheers. |
