2002-11-28 11:16:00 Does anyone actually read documents before they sign them? (Or hit the "Agrre" button). (www.dilbert.com) nz_liam (845)

2002-11-29 06:54:00 I read documents before I sign them. And if it's long I ask if they can tell me briefly what it says, and then I ask if I can go away and read it before I sign it. If they won't let me, then I won't sign.

2002-11-29 13:21:00 Generally I just sign them unless I'm suspicious as to what they're about. -=JM=- (16)
2002-11-29 17:03:00 Can't remember the program, but one was about ten A4 pages of text in a window three lines high. I would have loved to challenge it in court. It was unreadable.

2002-11-29 19:54:00 Yes, I do read documents before signing/agreeing to them. You'd be very surprised at some of the nasty little rights you could be agreeing to when you sign on the dotted line. You should NEVER sign anything without reading it thoroughly and understanding it first.

All those software licence agreements are such a pain to read all the time though........
