Hi Polk, unfortunately there are no 100% guarantees in life (apart from death), and software and PC's can always spring a suprise on you :D But saying that, you got to live life a bit in the wild lane, so have a read on these DirectX FAQ's here (www.microsoft.com) to put your mind at rest.
