102550 2002-12-01 23:01:00 Er just use power with 0.33333333 etc e.g. 10th root use 0.1 etc

=POWER(Cellref,0.333333333333333)

102552 2002-12-01 23:45:00 To find the nth root of a number x, use =x^(1/n) .
If x is in cell A1 and n in cell A2, then (nth root of x) =(range("A1"))^(1/range("A2")).
Or however you want to do it. Excel is real good at this sort of thing.

=cellref^0.333333333
