2002-11-30 01:03:00 | I went to PF1 on my Linux box, Sam usually remembers that i am Clueless, and automaticly logs me in. Today i became guest, and when i tied to log in, it refused my password, so just in case i got it wrong i clicked the lost/forgotten password link, entered Clueless, and got the page telling me that a token had been emailed to me. The token has not arrived. i have checked the email address provided, and i was able to send myself email without problems To further confuse things, when i went back to Vanessa, it auto logged in no trouble at all... something odd going on here.... .Clueless

2002-12-01 20:45:00 | Hmmm.. same here. Happened to me the other day also. I thought that strange login stuff was limited to using the pressf1.co.nz url rather than pressf1.pcworld.co.nz? I have changed my shortcut, but the problem remains. I have also noticed that if you try to create a new user in order to post, it gives you error messages - user already created, or cannot create user styles. Odd.

2002-12-02 01:15:00 | honeylaser, Have you tried deleting the old cookie and tick the "automatically login" checkbox again when you login?

2002-12-02 01:31:00 | I don't think that is the problem. I don't mind having to re-enter my password and username, but it is kind of annoying how it does not accept my password. | honeylaser (814) | |
2002-12-02 01:58:00 | If the server which handles the login is down, it can't accespt your password. So much for the improved reliability and lower costs which "deregulation" has given us. :D

2002-12-02 02:13:00 | honeylaser, You might have to click the link on the login page saying "i forgot my password" and reset your password. After that, assuming the server doesn't fall of the desk and Bruce doesn't trip on the cat 5 again, it should all be fine...... Hang on... if you cant log in, how are you posting now? .Clueless
