| 102546 | 2002-11-29 22:54:00 | I have just clean installed xp pro, and have turned the autorun settings to "take no action" for all the file types on my cd player. One would expect this do disable autorun... However, when I put a cd in the drive, it churns for a bit (locking up windows) and then opens an explorer window on the root of the cd. This I do not want. Does anyone know how to !completely! disable the autoplay feature??? I know it is possible, as two days ago (with my old install of windows) I had NO autoplay features at all... This is what I want... Cheers, Craig. |
