| 102410 | 2002-11-29 09:32:00 | I am having a problem with a reoccuring popup. I am running a popup blocker program, which is stopping all but this one annoying popup from side-search.com, which is asking me to d/l their search toolbar. Its driving me nuts by appearing every few minutes. I have scanned my puter with three antivirus programs, (one puter based, two web based), and i scan clean on all three. I have tried emptying my temp folders and restarting to no avail, Is there a tool in IE6 that i may use to block traffic from this source ? Or has anyone got any other ideas ??? please help !!!! at the rate i'm cussing at this popup my budgies are going to learn some nasty swear words :( katt |

| 102415 | 2002-11-29 09:59:00 | this may seem like a silly idea but why not just stop going to side search? most popups will be called from another site. proberly the one u went to just before side search poped up. what sort of popup? browser window or a download/install window? |
