| 102639 | 2002-12-02 04:44:00 | Not sure why you would want a news ticker, but i would presume that sites that have them spend big money to have them going - updated. EG: employ people to maintain them. Could be wrong. Usually am BALDY:-) |

| 102641 | 2002-12-02 04:51:00 | heres my site http://www.cs-clanswat.tk. look at the bottom of the page. you will notice theres a extra small frame window that i want to put a news ticker on. (with no news) | TiM©:*) (977) | ||

| 102643 | 2002-12-02 06:11:00 | This might not quite what you want but real easy to do is a line of text that goes accross the bottom and says whatever you want use this code here <script>var count=0; var text=" xxxx . . . xxx xxxx . . . xxxx xxxx . . . xxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxxx? :Þ "; scroll();function scroll(){window . status=text . substring (count, text . length)+text . substring(0,count);if (count<text . length) count++; else count=0; setTimeout ("scroll()",150);}</script> replace the x's with the words of your choice, and play with the "150" value to adapt to suit . (best way i can think of to find out what it does) o yeah, the gaps count in the string of text If you want to see what it does in practice, follow this link ( . ihug . co . nz/~pugwash/millerton7a . html" target="_blank">homepages . ihug . co . nz) here . (it's a very outdated website, but you'll see a string of text asking if you wanna party hard) |

| 102647 | 2002-12-02 06:47:00 | My only suggestion is find a site which has one, view the sites source code copy and adapt what you see to suit your needs Thats how i get most of my stuff . No one owns html, and as long as what you adapt is not a direct copy designed to look exactly like someone elses stuff, you'll be fine . The line of script i gave before was taken from a teddybear site . . . . It takes a bit of effort, but it can always be done . . Clueless |
