| 102560 | 2002-12-01 22:55:00 | Hi Team I want to buy a ream of Epson "Bright white" double sided inkjet paper but nobody seems to know what I'm talking about. (I read about it on the PCW Website of course). Can anybody tell me where I might buy this in the central Auckland area? I understand it costs about $26 for 500 sheets. Cheers Billy 8-{) :D |

If you can find it, Colour Laser 90 GSM paper is superb for inkjets (a couple of dollars dearer than the above). Its a clay based paper, slightly glossier than the "bright white". Canon is one brand, used to use it when I had a "real" job a few years ago but havent seen it for sale lately, but its sold under other names as well. Those with colour lasers will know where to get it. It works well in ink jets, and is a good heavy paper. |

| 102562 | 2002-12-02 03:12:00 | Hi God Why am I not surprised to see your answer? I need to do some double-sided graphics printing so I must be sure that the Kodak or Colour Laser papers are coated on both sides. One graphic is quite ink-intensive so I want to avoid bleed-through. I will allow the first side to dry thoroughly but that isn't always enough. Did you get the Colour laser paper from the Stationery Warehouse as well? Cheers Billy 8-{) :D |

I use it for reports and although I only single side it, there is no difference between sides and no bleedthrough. I used to buy the colour laser paper from Canon, in A4 and A3 size, but don't deal with them now I am on my own. Don't use enough to warrant opening an account. I was shown some paper the other day, by someone using a colour laser and it was the same stuff, but can't remember the brand. $32 per ream. Never seen it at the Warehouse though. Never seen it anywhere but at the end-use customer, but it must be readily available given the proliferation of colour lasers |
