| 102969 | 2002-12-03 06:33:00 | Hi peoples! I have a machine: CPU: AMD Athlon XP 1600+ MotherBoard: Asus A7V266 Ram: 256MB DDR PC2100 Upon startup the machine never booted but the internal speaker started beeping (in short intervals). I had a similar problem on the same machine a while back and took it back to the store, the repaired it saying the ram had failed. They replaced the ram but now this happened. Could it be the same ram problem or something else? and how did this occur?. Thanx |

| 102971 | 2002-12-03 06:42:00 | The beeping is short and repeats in short intervals. | AZREAL (1795) | ||
| 102972 | 2002-12-03 08:38:00 | But how many beeps, are they all the same length, or are they short and long? Its your PC telling you whats wrong, and there are 30 or more possible combinations of beeps. If you listen carefully, write it down and post back someone will "translate" |
