| 102891 | 2002-12-03 02:06:00 | I've got a laptop with Win2K Pro installed (It booted from the CD). Now I want to install Windows 98, but the thing is, I have no floppy drive and so I cant get into DOS to install it coz it wont setup from within Win2K. Now 2 Questions: Should I have put 98 on before 2K to dual-boot ( I couldn't, but you know, would it have made life easier?) And second, can I make a regular 98 Boot-Disk into a bootable CD-ROM using Roio Easy CD-Creator 5 Basic? Thanks in advance Chilling_Silence |

I think you have to put win98 on first then win2k to dual boot. There may be a way around that though and someone else here might answer that for you. |

| 102895 | 2002-12-03 02:38:00 | Mmmm... My only copy is a non-origional copy that you cant boot. Its a backup copy made by copying the files to the HDD firstly and then re-burnt to a CD... The origional was lost a long time ago. So there is no .ISO file off the net I could download or image of the floppy boot disk I could use?! |

| 102899 | 2002-12-03 03:34:00 | I dunno how to boot of a Network Drive and secondly there's no PCMCIA network card for it at the moment... USB Floppy? I dont have one and itd cost a fair bit if ya ask me to buy one. There was no docking unit with the laptop, But thanks for your help anyways, the driver disk for the Dell box seems to have worked a treat. Next question, USB Root Hub comes up missing NTKERN.VXD, How do I fix this? Cheers Chilling_Silence |
