102887 2002-12-03 01:05:00 I went out this morning to buy an HP printer and came home with a Canon S400.
Could someone who has one of these help me please. (Don't say go back to the retailer I got it from farmers.)
Carefuly following the manual I set out to install the ink.The book says to insert the BC-33e cartridge in the holder. Then it says to install the ink tanks. THERE'S NO ROOM. The bc-33e is in the holder. I removed it and the ink tanks fitted nicely and everything seems OK.
BUT what do I do with their bc-33e that is sitting on my desk?
The picture in the book shows it sitting in irs carrier the way I had it. Then the next picture shows the ink tanks going in an empty carrier.
Somebody's a bit dense and I think it's probably me.
Jack.

102888 2002-12-03 05:04:00 Hi,
I have the BJC 3000 which is exactly the same printer but has been renumbered so i should be able to help.

The BC-33e is the green plastic cartridge which holds the individual ink tanks.
This sits in the black plastic holder which is built into the printer.
Put the green cartridge into the printer.
Now insert the four separate tanks into the green cartidge

You should be finished
Hope I have been of some assistance

102889 2002-12-03 16:25:00 Yes that's what I thought, but they dont fit. The four ink tanks fill uo the whole basket. If I put the carrier in the basket there is no way the ink will go inside.

If they dont fit this way you have been given the wrong cartridges.
