Any more info on it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Chilling_Silence |

| 102737 | 2002-12-03 00:15:00 | Try Copyleft (http://www.copyleft.co.nz) | mikebartnz (21) | ||

What they are selling is backup and other services. It's on a cover CD of one of the Australian magazines, APC, I think. Another source might be xsolutions (http://www.xsolutions.co.nz/). |

| 102742 | 2002-12-03 06:00:00 | Hi Chilling - I got the October issue of APC and tried out Lycoris... I didn't like it :) it's nice looking, but that's as far as it goes - I found Mandrake easier to run than Lycoris, and many of the options to fully configure your system just aren't available. | 102743 | 2002-12-03 08:19:00 | I have the ISO image for a 1 cd version of Lycoris (as a previous posting has mentioned, it was on an APC mag), so I could burn you a copy. If you want the "official" version you may have to order it online. Lycoris is based on Open Linux by Caldera and therefore has the same configuration tools. | Dolby Digital (160) | ||
| 102744 | 2002-12-03 08:42:00 | okay, that sounds good, if ya dont mind.. I'll check for a download site if its only 1 CD.. Mite be able to download it, but I'll post again tomorrow. The guy from XSolutions said they didnt have it yet, but if I joined the "mailing list" then they'd "notify" me when it was available! | Chilling_Silence (9) | ||
