you should be able to buy a ATI Radeon cheeper than the above prices, but the card isn't worth it. With the iminate release of the GeForce FX very soon you should see it drop in price. If i was you hold off with the upgrade that a pretty good system. Save some cash and pick up a FX and a new clawhammer necxy year.
But if you insist on a upgrade your best bet would be a Ti 4200 with 128mb RAM. With the extra ram the card wont need to use system ram to load the texture file in new games such as UT 2003 thus giving damm good preformance. |
