103292 2002-12-22 23:45:00 I have come to F1 specifically to ask the same question. Swat It seems to me terminally slow, by comparison with, say, Simply Super Software's Trojan Remover. With the latter, however, I have just had the unfortunate experience of getting a Javascript error after pressing the "Submit" button on a purchase transaction.

If the transaction has gone through, I will now have to persuade SimplySup that I have paid for the thing, or get my bank to reverse the transaction.

However, other than by deliberately planting Trojans, I see no way of objectively testing the efficiency of the software.

I was hoping theat PC World would have done an evaluation on both products, but yours seems to be the only reference to Swat It.

103293 2002-12-23 02:46:00 Since posting my last reply to Katt - and discovering a few more posts on Swat It (which I will now go and read), I have run the program again to find it displays the infuriating habit of pulling up at "100% done" without properly terminating. I click the stop button and it says "scan aborted". So I don't think I have any trojans but it leaves me less than the vital 101% sure. I think I'll be sticking with Torjan Remover, once I can figure out the glitch in their payment mechanism!
