| 103254 | 2002-12-04 06:16:00 | I was wondering what i would need to use... download or whatever in order to play/view VCD (Video Compact Disc) in my computer... I own some but currently i am unable to play them :( I run Win XP and Win 98... any ideas!:):) Thank you ~Tim |

| 103257 | 2002-12-04 08:15:00 | from my experience...ie/ suck it and see. i just put the cd in and it had an inbuilt player that auto ran. i figured out you can extract the original movie from the disc to hard drive, re name it to .mpg and run it from windows media player/ altho the size is huge (500+megs) its still good :) Tones |

| 103258 | 2002-12-04 08:20:00 | You can watch the VCD straight off the cd if you would like to or copy it to your hard drive. To do this follow these instructions: Place VCD into your CDROM or CDR drive If it doesn't load up automatically go to the MPEGAV folder on the VCD Right click this file and then go open with from the list choose Windows Media Player. It will now play. You can also copy these *.dat files from this folder to your hard drive. Just copy them then rename to .mpg to load up your media player. Hope that helps. These files are just MPEG files which have been put onto the VCD and renamed. Brendonny |
