103240 2002-12-04 06:12:00 Hey ........ I have just installed Mandrake Linux 8.2 on my computer along with Windows 98 and Windows XP .. they are all sucessfully booting ... but i cant connect to the internet using Linux... it wont find modem.. does anyone know how i could fix this problem?

I have an internal modem (:()

Any help would be kool!

yeah it is a winmodem.... so is there no way that i can use internet in linux now...

No doubt one of the Linux Gurus on here will steer you in the correct path as to what is what etc.

103246 2002-12-04 09:06:00 Hey thank you all i will try .. i dont know what win modem that it is aye.. i think that it is a Conexant... but i heard that they are the general Drivers.. o well i will try it and see...so do i download it from here and put it on cd and try it in linux?
