| 103225 | 2002-12-04 02:58:00 | hi im running win xp profesional explorer v6 on a dial up modem though ihug for a home comp which is not networked and ive just run gibsons shields up and port scan everything was fine ie either in stealth mode or closed except for port21 which is ftp port is this being open likely to lead to problems with hakers accessing my comp is there a simple way to close the port or do i need to download and run a firewall like zonealarm pro and has anyone had problems with zonealarm pro on win xp proffesional thanks for your help peter |
