| 103287 | 2002-12-04 08:32:00 | it could just be the site or an overloaded server. i've noticed IE6 can be a bit touchy (you didn't say what browser you have) with slow websites. also if connection is a bit dodgy it can cause it. the browser will simply time out and not display the image. | tweak'e (174) | ||
| 103288 | 2002-12-04 09:21:00 | You should be able to right-click on the un-displayed image and select "Show Image", although sometimes it pays to simply refresh the page! | Chilling_Silence (9) | ||
| 103289 | 2002-12-04 10:00:00 | Simon, Well I was just goint to post the following "What you are seeing are broken image links. These appear as a box with a red cross in Microsoft Internet Explorer, and as a broken icon in Netscape Navigator." However there seem to be major forum threads around the problem of IE6 (with and without SP1), what versions of OS, browser etc are you running. Do you run an Antivirus package or firewall pack ... if so what are they? You can also see this thread www.tek-tips.com/gviewthread.cfm/lev2/67/lev3/74/pid/608/qid/199497++red+cross+in+internet+explorer+frame&hl=en&ie=UTF-8]iexplorer (www.google.co.nz) 6.0 displays no gifs[/url] {you'll have to go through the lot to see if the specific problem you are having is mentioned.} Cheers, Babe. |
